Known as the "Shrine of the Redwoods" because it was the first major attraction along the Redwood Highway. Full-sized autos and pickups easily negotiate the natural opening which was hollowed out centuries ago by fires. Along with this historic landmark Shrine Park contains the Drive-On Log, Balance Tree, Walk-Through Tree and an operating Redwood Workshop.
