"Sunday
Dear Grandaddy
Some friends of ours had to
come up to Eureka yesterday, so
we volunteered to drive them up
& then came back home today.
It has been a very nice trip
so far, & the scenery is beautiful
We hope to enjoy a little
swimming on the way back.
Hope you and Mother and the
store are all right. Love,
Francese"
