"July 17, 1908
Bear River -
I am wondering if you
received letter with card
enclosed for Irene Harper
and also how you - the
Mother & Aunts are spending
the summer, we have been
in camp here on Bear River
35 miles from Eureka, for
two weeks, but will return
to Eureka next week. Ernest
has killed two deer, & we
have all the trout we can
eat. I have learned to
swim, -- my best love to
Minna and to all at 707.
