Message (verso)

"Dear Mother:- I write to tell you
about Theo's accident before
you hear it and get
frightened Dixie accidentally
cut Theo's three little fingers
off very near the end though,
we had the Dr dress it and he
is doing fine now and every
one says the finger nails will
grow again. Dixie feels awful
bad about it but is somewhat
consoled now. The children with
that exception are all well & fine
Little Dorothy is as sweet as a
peach & looks just like Ann
Theo looks more like John every day &
Dick looks like us all but lots like
Ann. John & I are
well too John is
firing in the plant Love to all Nela"
